A pair of sisters dealing with the recent death of their brother get involved with some nasty criminals who run drugs and traffic in humans. The older sister is cautious but the younger one is a little out of control.This book was as much about the dysfunctional family life of the characters as it was about getting caught up in crime. The two sisters each came with their own baggage and were interesting in general. I liked them but they were the kind of people you want to keep at arm’s length.There was less power fantasy in this book than in a lot of the thrillers that I read but there was a lot of danger and a few scenes of gruesome violence. The remaining siblings are left to discover the secret behind the bodies.For the most part, the characters are deftly injected under our skin, allowing us to feel their pain. When it is revealed what broke the family apart, I certainly did not agree with the children's decision to flee. One star deducted for that reason.How each sibling reacts to the family dynamic proves that even siblings from intact families can be very different. The side characters, although deeply flawed, could be someone you know.I've read this book twice since the beginning of the year. With so many new books coming out every day, it should come as no surprise that I highly recommend it. None of the characters are well developed. Motives are unclear, the violence is over done. Yes Emily is avenging her brothers death, a brother she feels let her down, but it seems it's more about what his killer does to women than about her brother. Her sister hates the brother, but the reason is a little vague. He uses women she used to counsel. This goes far beyond what any normal person would do to avenge someone you don't like. But she falls right in with Emily's plan.Then other women are thrown in the plot so they can be violently killed. And there's the typical bad woman supporting the evil head of the evil group that pimps out women. And the head bad guy looks like some kind of monster... and so on.And of course the weird, violence prone sister is the one who lives, probably because the author want to put her in another book. I say, don't. ePUB No Home for Killers: A Thriller sito di download It was so well written, inventive and mysterious. It was funny and it is not a funny story but the writing was really good. I loved the song lyrics added at the beginning of the chapters. The characters were very well represented. It is an extremely violent and graphic story. While some reviewers seemed to enjoy the ending I found it totally hokey plot twist. I think a longer book where the main character escapes and returns for revenge at a later time would have seemed more realistic. The death angels thing was too weird and unbelievable. But I thought the writing was superb so I’m upping it a star for that writing. Download PDF No Home for Killers: A Thriller This book follows a family full of drama…lots of characterization. Each time a character is introduced, there is a flashback to backfill their story…which I feel digresses from the plot. Lots of violence…not as much suspense. I felt like some of the deaths were unnecessary and ruined the plot. If you are going to read this one, know it has a good bit of violence (mob mentality and addresses abuse and prostitution). The main character switches from one sister to the other as the plot progresses. (That’s highly unusual in my opinion).
