The next second he’s complaining about how I fold his work shirts. Fine. Fold them yourself. It turns out that the only time I don’t get under Chase’s skin is when I’m under him.And that’s where things get complicated. From USA Today Bestselling author Adriana Locke comes a grumpy, blue-collar single dad that falls hard for his new nanny. This was a book that just made me feel good. It was lighthearted and fun while still having a little angst and a great climax. I picked it up initially because I love the single dad troupe, but it had so many layers to it. There was a car of mistaken identity, grumpy/sunshine, blue collar, a little enemies to lovers vibe and of course the instant attraction. From their unlikely meeting, to their family connection to Megan’s fast friendship with Gavin, Megan and Chase were such an entertaining couple. I loved their banter and their honesty. I loved that they put Chase’s daughter, Kennedy, first. I loved how well Megan connected with Kennedy and stood up for her. I loved how she understood Kennedy because of her own past. And I loved that she didn’t just forgive Chase, she made him communicate instead of brushing his gruff responses off. This was one of those books that sucked me in from page one and the next thing I knew I was reading “the end”. It was a great escape and something that made me smile while reading. Chase’s grumpiness and Megan’s fierce strength made for some great foreplay and when they finally decided to give their relationship a shot, they had some amazing chemistry. I loved the idea of finding your home, not in a place, but with a person or a family. I loved the thought that when you find that home, everything that lead up to that point made more sense and it just clicked. More Than I Could Online PDF Kindle lire epub I cannot tell you how excited I am to meet another family from Adriana Locke. This book is being released as a standalone. And it does have a totally complete story. But based on those engaging side characters that Adriana Locke is known for, we can only hope she is coming back to this family to give each of them a story. As for Chase and Megan, they are great together. This one mostly falls into the grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, single dad/nanny kind of story. But Chase isn’t really grumpy just stressed a lot of the time. And who wouldn’t be when you are raising a fourteen year old daughter on your own? And Megan isn’t really the nanny, just a family friend helping out and staying with the family. But all of that leads to some of the best kind of tension. I loved them fighting their attraction, and I loved when they gave in. But I also really loved watching Megan figure out how to be a role model for a teenager, and how exactly to be a part of a family. You should definitely read this one and keep an eye out for more from the Marshall family. PDF More Than I Could download link In this fun, phenomenal romance, our hero, Chase Marshall, is a lineman for the electric company and single dad to a fourteen-year-old daughter, Kennedy. He needs a nanny to fill in for his for the next month while his parents are out of town visiting his sister. Chase and Megan's mothers are the ones who make the arrangements, and that's how Megan Kramer finds herself traveling to Peachwood Falls to stay with Chase's daughter, Kennedy.Their first meeting is not exactly a meet-cute when Chase stops to help a woman stranded in her car on the side of the road. His winning personality and sparkling wit earn him the moniker of Grumpy Cat from Megan, so you can imagine her surprise when she realizes the next day that Mr. GC is her potential boss. This crafty wordsmith is my go-to for small-town, feel-good romance and she never disappoints. I love the grumpy/sunshine mix, and adding a young teenage girl into the mix kept things interesting. I enjoyed the fictional world and secondary characters so much that I wish this were a series rather than a standalone. Sweet and steamy and full of feels, this is small-town romance at its finest. An epic reading escape guaranteed to make your romantic heart blissfully happy, run to the 1-Click and start reading this one right away! ePUB More Than I Could link per il download Oh my word. Adriana Locke did it again & the only reason it took me so long to finish was because my kids needed attention too. From the first few pages, I was hooked. As usual, her writing brings you in & has a hold on you. Kennedy’s spunk brings joy and her own happily ever after in having someone who can show her how to be herself, be her own voice & feel loved for who she is.Chase and Megan are dreamy, their connection, their story, them. Megan is unabashedly herself and isn’t a damsel in distress in any capacity. Chase is the grumpy single dad who just needed that little something.Everything about More Than I Could is perfection. Lighthearted with enough spice, sass & drama to immerse you in this little town & all of a sudden it’s the last page.Thank you Adriana Locke, yet another book I’ll be thinking about for a while πŸ˜‚ PDF Download More Than I Could Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Steam:🌢️🌢️Tropes: π’”π’Šπ’π’ˆπ’π’† 𝒅𝒂𝒅, π’π’‚π’π’π’š, π’ˆπ’“π’–π’Žπ’‘π’š/π’”π’–π’π’”π’‰π’Šπ’π’†, π’”π’Žπ’‚π’π’ π’•π’π’˜π’, π’‚π’ˆπ’† π’ˆπ’‚π’‘, 𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓This book is filled with fantastic banter and steam. Chase is a single dad of a rebellious 14 year old girl. He is grumpy but has a flirty playfulness that I loved! Chase isn’t looking for love. He needs help with his daughter while he’s away at work.Megan is a gem. I love how she handles herself throughout the book. She isn’t all sunshine because she does have some snark and holds her own with Chase. Megan also isn’t looking for a relationship but neither are prepared for the other!“π‘ͺ𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆 π’Šπ’” π’†π’—π’†π’“π’šπ’•π’‰π’Šπ’π’ˆ 𝑰’𝒗𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 π’‚π’π’π’π’˜π’†π’… π’Žπ’šπ’”π’†π’π’‡ 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆.“The steamy teasing between them is so good. It really builds the tension! I was slightly disappointed the first sex scene was fade to black basically. It had such a hot build up and then the payoff wasn’t there. Fortunately it wasn’t like that the rest of the book. There is a chance we’ll see more of the Marshall family and I hope there is a story for Gavin, Chase’s brother. He was my favorite side character.Overall, I really loved this book and it hit a lot of favorite themes for me: push/pull, slow burn and steamy tension between the MCs. Thank you for the ARC!
